THE PRACTICE

Witcher Crawford is an RIBA Chartered Practice with a strong reputation for producing aesthetically pleasing and imaginative buildings. We are a client focused practice that believes in providing a full service throughout the design and construction process.

Witcher Crawford is not bound to a particular style and embraces a wide range of architectural influences. The common thread in each of our projects is considered design and careful attention to detail.

The company was formed in June 2004 by architect Richard Witcher and Geoff Crawford, a conservation building surveyor. The practice has grown steadily in size and reputation year on year and now employees a talented team of architects, surveyors and technologists.

The interests and expertise of the directors and staff cover all aspects of construction design. Our combined experience enables us to react in a professional manner, with the correct resources, to all our clients’ architectural requirements, irrespective of size or complexity of the commission.

We consider client interaction as a key component to success. Whether dealing with people with a strong design sense or with others who require more assistance to recognise their vision, we will use our expertise to draw from the client the project that ultimately meets their needs. This approach has lead to the vast majority of our commissions coming from client referral.

Witcher Crawford has undertaken schemes across southern England, London and the Channel Isles. The practise has a reputation for bespoke private housing and conservation projects and also undertakes work in social housing and public and commercial buildings. Our clients include private individuals, speculative developers, charities, government and local authority bodies.
