Environmentally friendly design, sustainable construction and the use of renewable energy sources are very important to the ethos of Witcher Crawford. Having previously developed a Green Specification and undertaken a set of benchmark projects with a National Housing Association, Witcher Crawford is actively applying and promoting eco technologies and materials to every project. The development of architectural ecological solutions is necessary to exceed the requirements of ever changing Building Regulations and Government Legislation.

Embracing an environmental approach is vital whether designing traditional or contemporary structures. The projects displayed on this page include a new build block of flats and a private residence that were design with sustainability as the first principle. Images 4 and 5 illustrate a project which utilises existing dilapidated structures reworked with new environmental solution to ensure their continued use.
