Barns

The images displayed on this page illustrate a selection of barn projects either completed by Witcher Crawford or currently in progress. The barn projects undertaken by Witcher Crawford include a variety of structures ranging from grade II listed Hampshire thatched barns to tin clad early 20th century structures, most of which have been in a poor state at commencement. The services provided range from the restoration of small barns, providing ancillary accommodation for private dwellings, to the complete redevelopment of farm complexes to form mixed use conversions for residential, office and light commercial use.

Witcher Crawford has overseen the restoration of listed barns using traditional carpentry techniques and repair methods following English Heritage and SPAB guidelines. Current barns projects include the conversion of a dilapidated cob barn into self contain holiday accommodation and the conversion a large timber barn into a private dwelling.
